Yestival! ...'Sure you can't say no!!
The 2012 Yestival Bike Festival is now completed. We launched Bike Week 2012 with a host of fantastic events on Dublin's most newly designed street, Fade Street, a great city centre location. The aim of the Bike Yestival is to celebrate the exploding cycle culture that has grabbed our nation and be inspired by innovative bicycle-related projects. The street was closed for the day to be transformed into a festival of everything bike-related. The Bike Yestival featured a cycle-generated music stage with singer Luka Bloom and many other artists. Bike-fixing workshops were offered and Fade Street businesses hosted bicycle films. In addition to this there was cycle-powered smoothies, a bike Museum, a vintage bike and fashion show and an expo for Dublin's great bicycle shops. There was something for everyone whether you ride a Penny Farthing or a high-speed fixie!
We look forward to the next Yestival and hope to see you there!
